We started vacationing in Canaan in 1992. So by 2000 when we bought AN INTERLUDE, we had an idea on how we wanted to be treated as a Guest at a vacation rental. By 2005 when we added our 2nd rental, we were sure our business model was working.

We have actually vacationed in Canaan, at least 2X a year foor the 8 years prior to owning. We had a very good idea of what Guests are looking for...
So, we offer specials, free nights, frequent guest discounts, in a high value home, thast is clean and well maintained. Our goal is 100% functional on the hot tub
AND, we offer our Guests, our cell phone, so that if they have a question, need some attention, need directions, want to know the name of a restaurant, etc. etc. the answer is only a phone call away/

WE HAVE 2 LOCATIONS AND ONE EMPTY LOT. WE COULD DEVELOP THAT LOT IN THE FUTURE

We have 2 homes for rent; and a lot next to our ASPENWOODS home. We have no plans for expansion. In fact, since we are at retirement age we would entertain an offer to buy, for our properties. And the new buyer could expand, by building their own home on the wooded lot next to ASPENWOODS. wE WOULD ALSO ENTERTAIN OFFERS TO BUY THAT.
