LifeSTARTS Youth & Family Services offers in-school, after-school, mentoring, and other family-strengthening programs to over 5000 youth and their families per year. Our service area covers Wards 7 & 8 ("East of the River") in Washington, DC and Prince George’s County. LifeSTARTS intentionally reaches out to young people who others often turn away from. Our staff makes a “heart and mind” connection with even the toughest children because they have similar backgrounds to the youth we serve.
